BENELLI Tre 900 Tornado Novecento (2006-2006) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2006, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Benelli Tre 900 Tornado Novecento, a fully faired, race-inspired, Italian-built machine in its fourth consecutive production year.

The 2006 model was delivered in the same shape and form as previous models, offering the same technical, performance, and visual characteristics without any significant changes whatsoever.

It was fitted with standard features, such as a single headlight unit, a single seat with a passenger seat cowl, a small windscreen, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

The bike's suspension system comprised an adjustable Ohlins telescopic fork mounted on the front and an aluminum swingarm with an adjustable Ohlins shock absorber placed on the rear, offering excellent handling capabilities.

Braking-wise, the bike relied on two 320 mm brake rotors on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear for safety. The front and rear discs were clamped to four-piston calipers, offering excellent braking performance.

The 2006 Benelli Tre 900 Tornado Novecento was set in motion by an 898cc four-stroke three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, boasting 140 hp with a peak at 11,500 rpm and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) torque at 8,800 rpm.

The bike's six-speed transmission was linked to the rear wheel through a final chain drive, launching the motorcycle to a top speed of 260 kph (162 mph).
