In 2012, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer introduced the Benelli Due 756, a middle-weight twin-cylinder streetfighter created to compete with the Ducati Monster 696, MV Augusta F3 Brutale, and Triumph Street Triple.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as a single fork-mounted headlight, a one-piece dual seat, an off-set rear shock, a side stand, a dual exhaust system with a silencer mounted under the engine, and five-spoke aluminum wheels.

It was built around an aluminum beam twin-spar frame with a 50 mm inverted telescopic fork mounted on the front and an aluminum swingarm with an off-set shock absorber on the rear with 120 mm of travel, delivering excellent handling capabilities.

As for the braking performance, the bike packed two 320 mm with four-piston radially mounted Brembo calipers on the front and a 240 mm brake disc with a dual-piston Brembo caliper mounted on the rear, offering excellent braking power.

In the power department, the 2012 Benelli Due 756 had its soul brought to life by a 754cc four-stroke liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 97 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64 Nm (47 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.

The bike was set in motion by a six-speed manual transmission controlled by a wet multi-plate clutch that sent the power generated by the engine to the rear wheel via a final chain drive.
