The Aprilia Leonardo was a low-wheel scooter produced by Aprilia in 1997, continuing production until 2007. The scooter was available in three engine displacements, 125, 150, 250, and 300cc.

In 2003, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Aprilia Leonardo ST/SP 150, a scooter that provided an excellent riding position for both passenger and rider. It best suits those riders searching for an efficient and fun alternative to the busy city streets.

The scooter's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as a body covered with fairings, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke aluminum wheels.

The bike was built around a steel frame with a 35 mm hydraulic telescopic fork on the front that provided 90 mm of travel and two hydraulic shocks on the rear that offered 90 mm of travel.

As for the braking performance, the scooter's wheels were equipped with a single 220 mm disc coupled to a two-piston caliper on the front and a 190 mm rotor tied to a dual-piston caliper on the rear.

In the performance department, the 2003 Leonardo ST/SP 150 had its heartbeat set by a 150cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine managed by a Tei Kei carburetor. The 14 hp and 13 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque at 6,750 rpm generated by the engine was redirected to the rear through a CVT gearbox with a dry, centrifugal automatic clutch and a final belt drive.
