There's something about the 1M. We can't really point it out, but there is something that simply drives us crazy. That's why, when we saw this Alpine White 1er in South Africa we had to give it the attention it asked for.
The limited-production Bimmer is impressive from each angle. The body shape and thingis it's capable of are enough to send shivers down your spine.
Unfortunately, this owner from South Africa decided that just driving such a rare car wasn't enough. According to him, everyone must know that this vehicle was designed by the M division of BMW so, in order to fulfill his desire, he decided to add the BMW Motorsport stripes over the white paint job, from the front left fender, diagonally over to the rear right side.
Of course, the latin phrase "degustibus non est disputandum" is still as valid as always and everyone's free to do whatever they want with their cars but we can't help but wonder if a simple Valencia Orange finish wouldn't've been better.
