For the more practical car buyers out there, looking for a stylish and roomy family car, the sedan version of the all-new Mazda6 may not be for them. Now, however, the Japanese manufacturer has just released a few photos of the estate version of the car.
It maintains the very sleek profile of its less practical sibling, and by having a raked roofline and rear window, it actually looks quite sporty - for an estate, that is. The rear lights are lifted straight from the sedan, yet they have been very neatly integrated into the design, and you couldn’t possibly picture the car with another set of lights.
Powering the estate will be the same range of engines, starting off with a 2.0-liter unit with 150 hp, moving up to a 2.5-liter unit with 190 hp, as well as Mazda’s familiar 2.2-liter diesel which comes in two states of tune - 150 and 175 hp. The car will make its official public debut at the Paris Motor Show, and be sure we will be bringing you live photos of this stunning-looking estate car.
