Started out as a pretty mauled XS650, this Yamaha has transcended into another plane of existence: with a bored-out displacement reaching the 750cc mark and upgrade cams, the whole build was centered on the low, aggressive and unbelievably sexy chromoly frame.
Leaving all the classic heritage behind, the Low, Down, & Shifty was forever changed, ready to roam the post-apocalyptic barren roads of a world which was likewise, changed for ever. A somewhat heartening artwork by Tanner Goldbeck adorns the elongated tank: a reminder of the world which was and maybe offering a dash of hope in the world to be.
Lacking practicality and seemingly scarce in comfort, too, the Icon 1000 Low, Down, & Shifty is a style statement: we might just start seeing bikes like this more often if we don't do something about the way we treat the good old planet...
