We don’t really know what avid game players expect from each new version of the highly popular Need for Speed, but the people behind it are putting every effort into making it more and more attractive. This time, with the release of the SHIFT 2 Unleashed on March 29, gamers will get the real and authentic feel of racing.

Top racecar drivers, including Tommy Milner, Edward Sandstrom and drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. all spent a great deal of time with the team at Slightly Mad Studios, helping make SHIFT 2 Unleashed offer an authentic racing experience.

As for Vaughn Gittin Jr., both his 2011 Mustang GT Formula Drift car and his RTR-X have been digitized and added into the game, each playing the role of “boss” cars. The racing-spec 2011 Mustang has received the role of “Drift
boss,” while the custom RTR-X will be assigned the task of being the “Muscle boss.”

“Working on SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED has been a true project of passion for me,”
Gittin Jr. said. “I am very excited for the world to have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of my cars virtually. Who knows, it could turn into reality for a few gamers one day! I sincerely hope everyone enjoys SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED. The team has put a lot of passion behind each element of the game to offer in my opinion what is the best console driving experience to date!”
