HYOSUNG XRX125 (2005-2006) Specs, Performance & Photos

The XRX125 was a lightweight dual-purpose motorcycle made by the South Korean motorcycle manufacturer Hyosung. In some markets, it was also known as the RX125.

The motorcycle was manufactured from 1998 until 2009 and sold in many countries, such as Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania. In Brazil, it was assembled from CKD kits by Kasinski Motos and renamed a Kasinski product.

In 2005, the South Korean motorcycle manufacturer released the Hyosung XRX125, a dual-purpose motorcycle with standard fittings, such as a high-mounted front mudguard, a rectangular headlight integrated into a small cowl, a one-piece dual seat, an engine protective cover, and wire-spoke wheels with mixed tires.

The motorcycle was made around a steel frame that housed the suspension system. The system comprised an inverted telescopic fork on the front with 250 mm wheel travel and a dual-sided swingarm tied to a single shock absorber on the rear with 200 mm of travel.

In the braking department, the motorcycle packed a 240 mm brake disc on the 21-inch front wheel, clamped by a hydraulic caliper, and a 130 mm drum braking unit on the rear, providing optimum stopping performance.

Regarding power, the 2005 Hyosung XRX125's muscles came from a 124cc four-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivered 12 hp at 8,500 rpm and 10 Nm (7 lb-ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.
