The Honda PCX was a scooter manufactured by Honda from 2009 until the present. Production started in 2009 at A.P. Honda Co. in Bangkok, Thailand, and it was sold in November 2009. It filled the gap between small-displacement machines and maxi scooters.

In 2012, the Japanese motorcycle maker introduced the Honda PCX in the Australian market, while the United States skipped the 2012 PCX125 in favor of the PCX150, which arrived in the summer of 2012. Later, in 2013, both models were sold in the American and Canadian markets.

The 2012 model packed a redesigned engine with less friction and a slightly larger displacement, which increased efficiency. The engine was based on Honda's Enhanced Smart Power (eSP).

Visually, the scooter was characterized by a full bodywork, a large headlight unit, a medium-sized windscreen, a center stand, a one-piece dual seat, a single exhaust system with a muffler mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

The scooter was made around a steel frame that housed the suspension system, which consisted of a 31 mm hydraulic fork on the front and two side-mounted shock absorbers. This system delivered a smooth riding experience.

As for the power figures, the 2012 Honda PCX150 had its soul brought to life by a 153cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 14 hp with a peak at 8,500 rpm.
