Already one of the most distinctive carmaker, Mini released a new unique 2-door named Coupe.

The Coupe still featured the attractive exterior design that made the Mini so successful over the years, but had a different roof and a 2-seat configuration.

Inside, the cabin featured the same dash layout as the normal Mini hatchback. The same rounded cluster gauges and sporty accents complemented the nicely equipped cabin.

A small downside, the central console was a little difficult to operate while driving.

The equipment available included parking sensors, air-conditioning, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and many others.

With lots of adjustments for the seats, as well as a reach and height adjustable steering wheel, it was easy to find the most comfortable driving position.

With the low roof, very tall drivers were not the most comfortable due to the limited headroom. Rear visibility was also poor and looking in the central mirrors would not have offered lots of information.

While other competitors in the class offered seating for four, even if the rear seats offered little legroom and headroom, the Coupe was only fit for 2 occupants. The cargo area was larger than the hathback’s, but still small.

Available with a wide range of engines, the Coupe was a powerful vehicle even with the 1.6-liter unit that boasted over 200 hp.
